  1. I've been using this tool for a little over a month now and the amount of money it has saved me is well over the hundreds of dollars. The ability to track keywords and see where i'm losing money in a matter of minutes compared to hours and days is priceless.

  2. I found your blog on google and read a few of your other posts. I just added you to my Google News Reader. Keep up the good work. Look forward to reading more from you in the future.

  3. I enjoyed reading your post as I also tried both Kontera and Adbrite on my website. Since I explored Infolinks my earnings increased dramatically!!!

  4. Not a bad idea to add incremental revenue to your site. I have about 5 blogs which I publisher and have been seeing declines in my banner rates. Nice find..I'll try it out.

  5. Yeah banner rates have been down across the board which is most likely due to the summer time, there should definitely be an increase towards the end of September…..

  6. i am a beginner in monetizing my blog with Adsense. i still need to learn more about the tips and tricks on Adsense. hopefully i might be able to earn a decent amount of cash on Adsense.

  7. Hey man! this is Buddy the technical support guy! Just want to let you know that your site really rocks!
I've been learning a lot from this website, especially about SEO. I'm working on my new website. It's about computer troubleshooting like how to remove viruses, operating system issues etc. Hopefully I can have my new site up at the 3rd or 4th week of November.
Thanks again man for telling me about this site! I'm really learning a lot from this!

  8. Question on your post… I use BigCommerce for my site, and I've been bugging them to implement some kind of affiliate marketing system… you say they already have it.
If so, how do you access it… their support personnel don't know anything about it!

  9. The Christmas Holidays is just around the corner. Make it better with additional income from affiliate marketing website. Extra income is most welcome around this time of the year- when you wish to get a special something for your special someone.

  10. I have looked at many sites and not come a cross such a site as yours that tells you what you really need to know about affiliate marketing.
I've added your feed to my reader, are there any other good blogs you'd suggest I read on the subject?

  11. Extra income is most welcome around the Christmas Holidays. Most specially when you wish to give something to someone special. Make it happen with additional income from affiliate marketing website.

  12. Hello, I found this site when i was searching for sites related to ringtones. I wanted to tell you, your site is good. I like the theme too, its nice. I don't have much time at the moment to slowly read your web site but I have noted it and I also signed up for your RSS feed. I will return in a night or two. Thanks for an informative blog.

  13. Adsense is the best paying make money online program on the internet. I just wish that i could increase my website traffic to high levels so that i could earn more money on Adsense.

  14. Affiliate marketing is the easiest and the most lucrative way to start your internet marketing career. Once you get the feel of the business you can then venture on to others. And remember, success is not by chance, it’s by choice!.

  15. I've been with Big Commerce for a couple of months now and the software is decent, BUT their support personnel doesn't know a whole lot about anything, and it really frustrates me that they only want you to open a support ticket when there is something wrong. When I asked them if there was a way for me to send newsletters to my customers they told me that a regular email is just as good!
So my question to your post is am I missing something or should I look at a provider to handle my newsletters?

  16. great post. I'm still young in the game so I'm doing the adsense still but reading his helps me plan ahead for when i'm ready to move on. I was looking at Global Grind also but it looks like you are unhappy with them. i'll check your other posts and see what the deal is.

  17. Thanks for this information man. This is just what I am looking for. I just have my new site uploaded. You can check it out. I'm still new to this SEO thing.

  23. You mention above about giveaways…"These work every time , that second one lead to 100 fans in a day. I have a Facebook App set up to track who refers the most members." What app are you using to track the referrals?

  24. Really amazing stats man.Great post.I didn't know we could get 1000 + visitors per day from facebook fan page alone !!! That's quite surprising. My blog is 15 days old and i have got 2500 + visitors uptil now.

  25. Hi Glenton,
This is Jonathan from Kontera. After coming across this post thanks to your recent head to head review of our competitors, we looked up your account history, and I think your problems in January 2009 has more to do with advertiser patterns than any changes on Kontera's end.
The way it works at Kontera, and really at almost any advertising platform is that thanks the Christmas season, there's the most advertiser activity at Kontera during the Q4, and that's likely when you'll see your highest earnings. As Advertisers scale back their campaigns during Q1 for the slower Winter month, it's completely normal for Publishers to a proportional decrease in the revenue.
If you're worried about relevancy with your In-Text ads, Kontera is almost universally acknowledged as having the most relevant In-Text ads, thanks to our Contextual Technology, an algorithm that rather than just scanning for keywords, actually reads your webpages for meaning. This added level of targeting enables us to provide more relevant ads, which translates into higher CTR and better CPC results for you.
Additionally, because Kontera features premium, often Rich-Media ads from some of the most recognizable brands in the world, including Microsoft, L'Oreal, National Geographic, Sprint, Kmart, Dove, and more; our ads aren't viewed as annoying by readers. These ads pay the best possible CPC and are only available through Kontera.
My suggestion, if you're interested, is if you had been satisfied with Kontera in the past, why not give us another try? We're currently offering new publishers a 70% revenue share, which is the best rate in the industry, if you contact me via e-mail I'd be more than happy to hook you up with that preferred rate.

    1. Oh yes I believe they are annoying, I believe that In text advertising gets its Clicks because people are trying to get rid of them and end up clicking them. Every time i get into a website that has in text advertising i either try to disable them or just i stop browsing that website. they are just plain Annoying

  26. I am not sure how come Vibrant Media is paying less that Infolinks. For VibrantMedia image, i can see 97.58$ for 281 clicks i.e 0.35$ per click whereas for Infolinks image its 292.47$ for 3201 clicks i.e 0.09$ per click, so VibrantMedia is paying more, am I right? or I am missing something here.

    1. Nope, Infolinks pays per CPM not per click so you can't compare them like that. Looking at per click payments is beside the point, what matters is the bottom line and the bottom line is Infolinks make 3 times as much as Vibrant Media on a week to week basis.
And even if you want to judge it by clicks just look at how much better Infolinks performs when comparing clicks, actually I wish Infolinks was paying per click, I would make so much more money.
At the end of the month when you get a $2,000 check from Infolinks and a $500 one from Vibrant Media are you really going to be thinking about Vibrant Media paying more per click?

    1. Not necessarily, between my network of sites I get over 5 million a visitors per month. An I don't make half what I use to with less traffic back in 2005 – 2006.

  27. Let me summarize this for you: "Buy my stupid e-book". Whether you choose to publish this comment or not, you get the message.

      1. Johnathon Volk's cheese-d*ck site is BS, as are his "tips" for making millions. Google adwords, while more expensive, is much more reliable, universal, and advertiser-friendly.
        Nice suck-job, though.

  28. Those are very impressive numbers, I just started using http://unitymobile.com to build my mobile sites. They allow me to use Google adsense on my mobile sites, which is good for me because I don't have much experience or time on my hands. Thank you for sharing!

  29. So, how can i get people to my facebook fan page if none of my friends are interested in what I'm interested in (graphic design)? I've noticed I was able to get around 30 friends to follow my page, but nothing after that. I expected to get other's interested in graphic design to check out my page and become followers, but that hasn't been the case. I guess I have to look more into it. Any tips would be appreciated. Nice post.

  30. This is an intriguing topic. I’m always looking for smart resources to send to clients and my coworkers, and your article is certainly worth sharing!

  31. No, it appears as though BigCommerce do not have an affiliate tracking system. I have been comparing BigCommerce to corecommerce and although I like the esthetic of BigCommerce, it appears to be lacking some core features that corecommerce offers:
    1. Affiliate Tracking System;
    2. PCI compliance (they say it's coming but they've been saying that for months); and
    3. Recurring billing (the BigCommerce fellow I spoke to today says recurring billing isn't on their map at this time)

  32. Hey Chozen- great post! I am wondering too what you are using to track your referrals. I have a client that is interested in doing the same. Thanks in advance- Erica

  33. Hi,
I use a simply tool to earn money.
If you are a photographer and have an adsense account,
http://www.isphotobomb.com is great. After login upload your photos,
go to "Apply Adsense" and put your adsense ID.
Then, just share the photo links and earn..

  34. Thanks for your article. I have Kontera on one site and because I only get a few visitors I don't make any money. $2.00 over 3 months I think. I'm probably annoying some people so I have to make a decision as to whether or not to use it on my other sites. I appreciate you giving me "food for thought".

  35. Infolinks has a lot of link farm advertisers. I put them on my site for a few days and all the ads were for some website called "StarKeyResults." Nothing but a link farm, and I think it gives you a virus too.
Vibrant has real companies for advertisers. I think website visitors appreciate ads that at least go to real products and websites, not link farms. And Vibrant ads look way better too.
I think having ugly/nonrelevant advertising networks like Infolinks and Kontera can hurt your Adsense and affiliate income. If a visitor sees ugly, non-contextual Infolinks and KOntera ads, they will just hit the back button. That's why I use Vibrant, even if the visitor doesn't click on the vibrant ad, they still might click on an Adsense ad or Amazon product.
    Just my 2 cents.

  36. I know that mobile payment systems are getting more and more popular in parts of Africa. Cell phone rates have really fallen in Kenya since new competion has been allowed in and the different companies are competing like mad. many Africans now use there cell phones to transfer money. This system will only grow and paypal will do really well with it because they are a trusted brand.

  37. Hi, thanks for the article. I am very new to all this and getting links I find particularly daunting. Thanks for the advice. It's good to know that there is a realistic way to get to page 1

  38. Looking at Vibrants numbers its hard to figure out how much they are charging per click, did they give you a set number or range?
Also with the new forms of advertisements that Kontera has been rolling out, are the numbers still down in terms of compensation for you as a publisher. Do they tell you the split or just how much you received?
My company is an online advertising network and are looking for publisher partnerships. It would be great to talk with you about this possibility. Please email me.

    1. I'm looking to have in-text ads and banner advertising on this site, and on the next.
I'm also building another site (some 300 pages) giving an history of a town.
I need income to cover site costs.
      Please advise

  39. Hey Good post! Just wondering, how efficient is search engine marketing by way of promoting an offline product or service. I see pages on a regular basis that promote an online based mostly product (ebook, amazon.com and many others), but if I need to promote say a personal trainer – is the online an efficient means to do that? Are you aware of any examples of this? Anyway, thanks in advance for any help. πŸ™‚

  40. when i came here i figured it was going to be filled with boring information, but actually it came out to be quite interesting. im impressed!

  41. I seem not to be able to make any real money from Adsense :-((
    Maybe I am too stupid.
I just have 5 small websites which earned me around $15 TOGETHER within 2 month.
All the time I hear, it´s a numbers game if one has small websites, but on the other hand, how many websites will I need if I earn $1.50/month from each site.
    That´s not very realistic.
    (Sorry for the rant!)

  42. Well i am not trying to hide things from others but the blog writer told you all at max, therefor just try to read what he said and process that to start working on your website which contain the subject line as follows:-
Make money from home, home base job, work on internet, paid survey, make money on a website, or last but not least you can also work this method on site with selling products from click bank or sharesale.
Hope you all got all ideas as i just founded this site is valuable for everyone.
Make money on a website is not big task you just need to learn to earn.
    Thank you

  43. Recently joined the Yahoo! Answers community and it is fun. Now up to Level 2 put can't spend too much time every day so tray and limit it to 2 or 3 times a week 30 minutes at a time. Will look at doing some questions to the community when the need arises also.

  44. I was actually a big fan of Ning until finding this post. Though one thing I did not like about Ning is oftentimes it was incredibly slow loading and I hope this one is better in that regards in addition to the other points you mention.
Being an avid bloghopper, I am surprised that I have not heard of this until now!

  45. I was surfing the web looking for some information and came across your blog. I just wanted to let you know that I think your site has some nice stuff and that I have already favorited the page so I can visit again soon! Nice Job!

  46. Wikipedia is many times disconsidered as a traffic directing site, but as I can see from your post, and as I can tell from my own experience, it has a huge potential over long periods of time. Wikipedia is a growing thing, now with the Wikileaks issue, even though they are only connected by the name and general idea.

  47. I think you have to try to get on Image Space Media's premium feed in order to get top earnings. When you try with them initially, I had very low earnings.
I also tried GumGum but their earnings keeps declining each month. I heard they are closing soon.
I will try Pixazza next but they are a CPA In-Image ad network.

  48. Thanks for that info Chosen. Been wanting to know that info for a long time. Keep up the great work and posts here–learning alot!

  49. Hello ive tried to sign up to wildfire app.com but it wont let me is it just for companies? i only ask because im promoting a website or trying to on facebook i have a like page already but need to get more fans to it the url is
==> http://on.fb.me/dSVudC ive shortened it because until i get 25 or more fans i can change the username etc.

  50. Chozen,
I made Fan Page but did not success to get lots of fans.
But as you guide in this way.
I think we can get lots of fan by Keeping update status and Questions and challenges etc.

  51. It's simple VibrantMedia STEALS clicks. I mean it doesn't count all clicks and the clicks done by visitors become theirs.
I have also experienced Vibrant and I can loudly say that Vibrant sucks balls! Vibrant also has a really retarded filter. If you run a news website where you simply present the news as they are, there are chances that only 20-30% of your stories will get Vibrant ads because the other 70-80% news stories could contain banned words such as: dead, killed, kills, terrorist, etc
If a story contains just one of these words, it gets no Vibrant ads. This network is the only one with these retarded filters.
    Vibrant Media SUCKS! PERIOD!

  52. Thanks for your post I learned some new things as well.
Another good tip for twitter success is taking the extra time to comment or retweet the people you follows or your followers posts. People check to see their retweets and comments and could get them to check your tweets out in return.
Remember following people your actually interested in can make tweeting a fun experience. The more personal connects you make you will see a increase in your followers as well. Dont forget the most important part about traffic is having it be targeted.

  53. Great article! There are few things I would like ask though
Like few others I would like to know what kind of app you used to track referrals. I think there really is no apps out there which could do this.
I have seen few music fan pages gathering lot's of fans in short time. Content created by musicians (music videos etc.) makes the fan page fly. But if you want to attract fans to other areas of interest – like online advertising or the like – it's quite a different thing. You don't have so appealing content up for grabs.
There is always those fan pages which just take of like a rocket even though no one is trying to make it big, not even the creator. So you really can't teach people how to have thousands of fans. Most of the biggest fanpages are pure coincidence. But of course it's easier if people apply your tips.
One thing, although I bit offtopic, is how to convert visiting fans to buyers. That's really hard. You could have few thousand fans and none of them buy a thing.

  54. here are some point we may concern:
    a. profile: should be interesting, and use target keyword
    b. send our profile to our client, friend, or mailing list
    c. Search user by using twitter search account.
    d. frequently update your tweet and answer feedback.
    e. use twitter feed to update your tweet.
    f. use sweetdesk to manage your tweet account.
    any other useful?

  55. Very useful post!
here are some plugins that i am using in my blog. they are really make sense.
    – all in one SEO
    – smart link
    – xml sitemap
    – robots
    – permarlink

  56. Nice article!
I don't this this is your software that you are using in your blog.
it seems that here is just some tips we should pay attention to.
yes, i agree with you: Link, keywords, and anchor text are really important. however, that's not enough. your content and your partner site where you put your links are also very important.
    keep your blog up!

  57. Another one to try is pixWISE.com a new entrant to the field; 80% of earnings go to publishers and if they can't send adds to your photos you can serve your own and make 100% of revenues from that.

  58. I laughed after reading your first line in this post! Really had a sense of humor. I agree, beginners really are the most problematic when it comes to selecting the best web hosting provider but with a lot of researching and reading all the reviews, would help him decide which one is for him!

  59. Hey there dude, I'm looking for the information about logo design. Your website is very good regarding this topic. Would you mind telling me more about how you make this? Thanks a lot.

  60. I am using Konters ads for my site Relaxfuture.com.
My CTR is very high and my daily avarage earning is 1$.
should my CTR be high or less for more daily earnings
    for same amount of clicks.

  61. Nice write up bro, I figured there was a plugin out there that did this, but I had never attempted to set it up myself. I just started to get some inquires on my fitness site for direct advertisers.
I was curious, what tools do you use for SEO as far as automated link building goes? What do you recommend? You seem to really know what you are doing in your hip hop niche, I am sure some tips would help me out a lot in the fitness industry as it is extremely competitive as well.

  62. We were doing well with infolinks, especially at the end of 2010, but the earning have gradually dropped and I can't see why. We've earned half as much money this month compared to last month, yet our pageviews and clicks etc are higher this month?

  63. What "content category" did you use when you setup infolinks on your hiphop site to make so much? Did you use the max allowed infolinks per page? Congrats on some incredible earnings man!

  64. hello there and thank you for your information – I have certainly picked up something new from right here. I did however expertise some technical issues using this web site, as I experienced to reload the web site many times previous to I could get it to load properly. I had been wondering if your web hosting is OK? Not that I'm complaining, but slow loading instances times will sometimes affect your placement in google and could damage your quality score if advertising and marketing with Adwords. Anyway I’m adding this RSS to my e-mail and can look out for a lot more of your respective fascinating content. Make sure you update this again very soon..

  65. I am very happy with infolinks even with little traffic I make money with them.
I am not planning on switching but I do know some big companies use vibrant as well as infolinks. So I'm not sure which really matters but I make good with infolinks.

  66. Helpful and all, but would like more detail in future related articles on web hosting with multiple blogs. Looking forward to more!

  67. I've used Kontera for a few years now and usually make about $400 – $500 a month from traffic that's around 5000 views a day. These last couple of months traffic has bumped up to 7000 daily and yet the Kontera revenue has mysteriously been cut in half… causing me to look for alternatives. Adsense revenue has bumped up to $35 – $50 daily while Kontera has dropped to below $10 a day – something's not right there folks.
Thanks for the post about Infolinks and Vibrant. I'll give Infolinks a shot.

      1. I ended up sticking with Kontera. They've been a good long term partner and the key was being able to reach out directly to them and get a better understanding of what was happening behind the scenes. There were also some improvements that were made both on my end and their's to bump up ecpm to what I was looking for, such as increasing the number of links per page (was only at 6 for some reason and increasing that to 10 made a difference).

        1. Here's what I can tell you about Kontera, InfoLinks and VibrantMedia, they all have there low points throughout the year. But I've been working with all 3 of these companies for years now on multiple websites with millions of visitors per month and I can tell you that InfoLinks pays the highest overall, one month I made over 8K with them but then they have months where they completely fall off and that's where you would switch to another network. You need to rotate between the networks to yield the highest profit.

  68. Resources just like the 1 you mentioned here will probably be extremely beneficial to me! I am going to post a web link to this page on my blog. I'm certain my visitors will find that extremely useful.

  69. I have a quick question in regard to participating in Yahoo Answers. Is a backlink created EACH time we participate by giving a highly useful response/answer along with our website info, OR is only ONE backlink given from Yahoo Answers in total no matter how much we participate on the site and leave our website address there? I know that participating with really useful advice can drive targeted traffic to our sites by individual users, but a web designer I know was telling me that no matter how much I participate on Yahoo Answers it will only equate to ONE BACKLINK in total ever – instead of one backlink per entry. I thank you in advance for your input on this.

  70. I precisely had to thank you very much once more. I'm not certain the things that I would've implemented without the type of information contributed by you on that subject. It was actually a real depressing issue in my position, nevertheless taking note of your specialised style you handled that made me to cry with contentment. I am grateful for this guidance and in addition trust you really know what a powerful job your are undertaking educating the mediocre ones via your blog post. Probably you've never got to know all of us.

  71. Do we need to change name servers too if we use our own custom domain which we already have ? or it's enough creating A records and CNAME record ?

  72. I precisely desired to thank you so much again. I'm not certain the things that I would have achieved without the creative ideas documented by you directly on this subject. Certainly was a very distressing crisis in my opinion, however , encountering a new specialised style you processed the issue made me to leap for fulfillment. I am thankful for the service and pray you know what a great job you have been putting in educating people through your blog. I am certain you have never met all of us.

  73. Great tips. I also use godaddy as my host and am currently trying to set up my blog on my existing site. The trouble I am running into is that if you already have a registered domain, you can only set up blogger as a subdomain.

  74. hi Chozen
Are you still working with Vibrant?
    heard they're not paying well.
what about InfoLinks e-cpm got better?

  75. Really a nice article.. i like your work.. but i have a question… at my facebook fanpage i have 400 fans but i am not getting any traffic from facebook.. how can i get traffic from facebook

  76. I noticed that you do not have any in-text ads on this site. Did you ever? Or were your in-text placements reserved for your other sites? I'm just curious, as I have been working with infolinks for about two weeks now and it seems as though I have it as optimized as possible, though my results are fairly poor. It appears as though my adsense revenue has gone from a 15% monthly increase to a 10% decrease since I added infolinks and the infolinks earnings have definitely not made up for my adsense loss.
I'm just fishing for thoughs from current/previous in-text publishers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  77. Just found your site today and I'm so grateful for all the awesome info you are sharing. I've only been able to spend a hour or two on your site but have learned so much. I'm trying to launch a few websites and your guidance has really helped. Thank you and I look forward to more.

  78. Excellent tips. I have been using Facebook ads for getting new fans and it seems to work great. Once you have a few coming in a day it always seems to go viral. The new people who join attract their friends with that little notice in the corner that says "Billy "likes" My Sweet New Life"
Facebook still is number 1 for social media hands down

    1. I'm not sure, but I did notice that a long time ago. Maybe Google feels it would hurt the overall ranking of the blog.
I did notice though that the official blogs (e.g. http://googleblog.blogspot.com) from Google that are hosted at Blogger do get indexed, I wonder why they would do that for their blogs and no one else.

  79. Domain names are a key component to a web presence. Domain names convert the numerical format that computers use to identify a website into a text based name that is easy for human users to understand and recall.

  80. Have you ever heard of IZIGG? Mobile couponing? Or text advertising? Well I use Izigg to market to my customers in Chicago , in the U.S. I believe in Mobile media's development, so here is how the IZIGG product works http://nemediachicago.com/ Play the video on the site. Its worth it.
Mobile website, mobile marketing makes sense to me ya know.

  81. Great article. No kidding, I own the domain name "bestwebdesigntips.com". And to confirm what you said in the article, keywords in the domain name are critical to success. I have only had this site up for about 6 months, and it is starting surge in search rankings, and advertising income.
From now on, I will only use domain names with keywords in them.

  82. I also was researching membership plugins like Denisse and came across your site. Very informative information. I was looking at buying DAP but after reading your article I'm leaning toward the wp-emember. I am building my membership site with optimize press so I don't really need anything but the plugin that helps me transfer people from the sales letter to paypal and gives them a username and password and back to the membership site to log in. Is this the one you would recommend for thisj purpose. Can you email me when you respond please?

  83. Hey,

      1. Hi Chozen,
Pls contact us via the contact-us form on our web site, and we'll make you an affiliate.
In fact, we have a smokin' hot Black Friday deal going on now that you will want to promote.

  84. Great site – I'm a big fan of all your websites. You've built an impressive business. I came to the About page looking for Site Builder Tips' twitter feed.
I'm glad I found it, but I thought I'd let you know I had a bit of trouble doing so.
Also – I dig the new logo on mixtapes.tv. Although the old one (with the tape and the tv) was really cool, it did take a second to decipher. The new one is much more straightforward.
    Keep grinding.

    1. Thanks for checking out the website, the Twitter link was at the top of the page though the icons are a bit dull.
Honestly I've neglecting this site because I'm busy with so many other projects but one I've streamlined everything, this site will be getting allot more attention. I feel like it will one my most valuable web properties because of the information it provides.

  85. Thanks for the review of those plugins.
It is really hard to know if you'll get all you need for your membership site based on the vendors feature. This insight is invaluable – I was sure I wanted to buy whishlist member, but it turns out that it does not seem to work as well as advertised.
    I'll go for Emember !

  86. i made an account on infolinks, but i still cant understand how they pay you when its not per clicks, i have a few clicks but no income.
and yeah do check out my blog, regards

  87. This book isn't even being sold anymore. The Rich Jerk site basically went dead for a whilet but it seems like RJ is at it again. I see he has some new page up at TheRichJerk.com and something at TheRichJerk.net
And I saw that somebody registered a trademark for "Rich Jerk" to be used with video games. He must be trying to get some viral PR for some game he plans on launching soon. I truly think it's the same guy. I don't think he ever left it alone if you ask me.

  88. If VirantMedia is better than InfoLinks then why are you using InfoLinks on your site and not VirantMedia?
Do you have a example of it actually being better? all I see is a ugly Blogger blog.

  89. Hello there. My wife and I just had one of our 4 Adsense sites disabled because someone went on a click frenzy last week. We've had our solid Adsense accounts for 8 years and we were making around $4500 USD per month before her one account was disabled. ANYWAY….the reason I'm posting is because all of our domains together get around 9000 unique visitors a month and ALL of the site are on loans (cars, boats, payday, mortgage, student, etc.)
Does anyone know if Infolinks pays well for loan ads? I sure not as much as Adsense, but what?
We're selling the big house and the RV next week..we can't trust Adsense any longer.
    Shooken and Up and Stirred….BillyBob

  90. Lol @ Firda. The article pretty much says that ISM is garbage and that Gum Gum is better. While I haven't tried Gum Gum, I can attest that ISM is pretty poor. Over the past few days I've had 5000 ad views with them, and have made $0.15.
With adsense, I would make at least $10 from that.
Does anyone know of a good CPM network?

  91. 1st off…
Yahoo site build has to be buy far THE WORST WEBSITE BUILDER EVER MADE.
If you call yourself a web developer, webmaster or any other term and you rely on a site builder than on behalf of all the REAL professional programmers and developers – your titles have been revoked. You are actually a basic computer user who has been scammed into using a poorly developed product.
I feel sorry for the gullible morons who use this kind of trash. Especially those who use yahoo?!?
    – A real webmaster, web developer, programmer.

  92. Can I believe it ? I make a page but still 15 fans, maybe Facebook advertisement but I try all other trick to boost up fans but nothing up there… plz give more short tips to increase the fans….

  93. Nice post. I just set up new FB Fan Page for my web site. Currently my website has 400 UV/day, what is a realistic target of fans in my FB Page in a month ?

  94. Hi: I just read your "comments" about Commission killer. While your language is certainly colorful, why didn't you try building pages with this system and watch for results? You don't explain that.
How do you explain the great results everyone else is getting?

    1. Show me 3 examples of other people successfully using this system to make real money, I'm talking about actual verified income and statistics here. The same way I provide real evidence of a system actually having an effect.
This is not a real business.

  95. Hello Sir!
just want to say Thanks! for your honest review.
You have NO reason to lie or degrade another system, especially while you are not even promoting one yourself.
Also, you are not the only one who call this as he ses it…Bullshit!
    Thank you.

  96. Good post! I have actually tried this product out and it is a good product to get a site up quick, but you still need to do the work of backlinking and SEO for the site to thrive. Was a good concept for sure!

  97. -Beware don't Spam.
-Before you place link make sure you contribute genuinely first then your link wont be removed
In my website http://www.universityinus.com that talks about list of all colleges and universities in U.S. has gain permanent link in wikki and drives over 20,000 traffic on daily bases.
Be a genuine contributor to wikki…………

  98. Great overview. Another option, 'Wishlist Member' has many positives, but it shockingly lacks a some basics like – allowing your members to UNREGISTER! Wow. Read the full review… 'Wishlist Member' WP Plugin Reviewed!

  99. Great article, I like the details and the numbers are a huge selling point for companies. The examples were good too. The IOI Publisher is very affordable for businesses and/or websites.

  100. To Add Membership To Your Website Easily Use Wishlist Member. It's fast & powerful, but has a few issues.

  101. Hi – this has been a really useful post, and I've read and re-read it several times over the last few days. As you've been so helpful to other people I was hoping you might point me in the right direction as well.
I'm not really looking for a full membership site in the commercial sense – I want to be able to publish customer documentation on my site so that only the customer can read it (once they're logged in). Ideally, once the customer is logged in, they will see a custom menu to their pages and document downloads, and ideally they'd be able to see a full list of all their accessible "private" posts (generated automatically or by a category of their name?). I don't want anyone to see any customer documentation, pages or menus unless they're logged in and even then they can only see their own – it's particularly important that customer A doesn't know customer B is also working with us!!
It would also be nice if the customer is allowed to edit their own posts and upload new/revised documents.
I had thought a basic access control system would suffice, but I've been researching options intermittently for a week or so, and can't find anything that will really do what I need.
Oh, and ideally I'd like to find a free solution, although I will consider a premium plugin if necessary.
I appreciate much of this could be achieved using a service like Dropbox, but I really want to drive the customer traffic to our website.
Sorry if that's all a bit confusing, but thanks in advance for your advice!

  102. I just put the wordpress version on my site.  It will be interesting to see if my facebook likes increase.  Great article.  Thanks for the best use tips at the bottom!

    1. That's great, leave comment here in a week or so to let us know if it improved your likes or not. @Japanese Ghost

  103. Those aren't real accounts though, you won't get any real traffic from that. If it was that easy to buy your way into social media everyone would be a over night success. @FuadHassanRussel

  104. I started answering questions on my niche (aerospace engineering) but have received no hits from Yahoo. Of the threee search engines, Yahoo is the one that drives me less traffic – and much less (3%, compared with 79% from Google). I have no idea why I receive so little traffic from it, as I have been submitting my site to all them.

  105. I am actively looking for a solution that will comply with all the tos of some of the newest vendors which ban cloaking of affiliate links, is that an option for this product.

  106. Neat blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download
it from somewhere? A design like yours with a few simple tweeks would
really make my blog jump out. Please let me know where you got your theme.

  107. Thanks for this man, I ended up here after I noticed I was getting 10 uniques from Wiki per day from one link! Seems like it could be a decent traffic source.
That floating bar with the like button and +1 etc is really annoying, it's floating on top of the page content making it difficult to read. I'm using Chrome, Win 7 with res of 1080p.

  108. I have your video telling me about your program. Now It's $77.00. Is that all it costs or will I find out it's $100.00 or $200.00??? Please tell me how much it cost total. Thanks Dolores

  109. Are you sure? , my site don't get visitors even it is PR2 , Please check my site and reccomend me what to do next to get visitors , i only get 15-20 visitors per day.

  110. I'm not sure where you're getting your information, but good topic. I needs to spend some time learning much more or understanding more. Thanks for excellent information I was looking for this information for my mission.

  111. I agree, the domain name is very important. You should be able to choose a domain name that is as close to your keyword as possible (though this may be a bit hard because the name you want may already be taken).
Also, you can actually use a website builder if you don't want to or don't know yet how to create a website on your own.

  112. can i use both on my site? I am currently using infolink have little traffic around 30/40 visitor per day.

  113. I've been looking for an article like this. I don't like 'lying' in the headlines, but I agree that headlines need to be catchy.
    Thanks for the input!

Have you ever wondered just how many people in this world use mobile phones now instead of land lines? Has it ever occurred to you that more than 5 billion mobile cell phone users access the internet from their phone to do searches rather than their desk top or laptop at home? Sure you have, and we are living in the evolution of the mobile phone era. Did you know that at least 70% of smart phone users will text before they pick up a land line and call? Think about it, they have “Android” & “Smart Phones”, that practically we live our lives by today. With that being said, I am here to make you aware of the multi-billion dollar mobile phone industry that affiliate marketing has barely scratched the surface. Mobile Marketing is on the rise and there are so many hungry cell phone users out there that are just waiting and willing to spend money via their smart phones online and are just begging for you to help them spend it! Mobile Cell phone gadgets have become so much smaller but grown very big in popularity. For example I have made tons of money from mobile affiliate marketing via http://www.mobilemoneywithrandy.com ; http://www.gettingpaid101.info ; & http://www.greatweboffer.info . These are not your average work at home or affiliate marketing strategies. I have learned a lot from these websites. For example that sometimes there is more money to be made in CPA Leads than actual sales. If you are looking for a different strategy in Internet marketing, mobile marketing is the way to go. I mean think about it for a second, how many times have you heard “I can’t live without my cell phone?”. Or it has been know that people feel like leaving their cell phone behind is equivalent to leaving their wallet, purse, drivers license, money, or credit cards at home. The Smartphone is fast becoming the major communications tool among billions of Americans. We depend on phones more now than ever before. It’s like the oxygen that we have to breathe for survival. As a small business owner reaching this audience is crucial to your or success. Creating an mobile strategy can help you communicate with your customers even when they are on the go. If positioned correctly, you can sell your product or service to your mobile user, it is the most effective marketing platform available today.
In fact, as mobile devices continue to grow in popularity and functionality, this marketing tactic will soon outpace all other forms in terms of volume usage. Through these three websites I assure you that you will definitely learn the mobile marketing game . Also please check out my blog on this subject @ http://blogsfordummys.blogspot.com .
To tap into this massive multi-billionaire mobile phone industry that is just waiting to be harvested like a grove of ripe peaches let these websites teach you these basics about Mobile marketing.
    Mobile Marketing
    Mobile campaign strategy development
    Mobile website development and implementation
    SMS campaign strategy development
    SMS campaign implementation
    QR Code implementation and tracking
Lately there is a million question floating around. Is Mobile Marketing Ready For Small Business? No the question should be is Small business ready for Mobile Marketing because it is constantly evolving and is not going anywhere anytime soon. The I Phone is evidence of the evolution!

  115. You wrote this article in 2009, so im interested to know if you're still getting the same number of visitors from your facebook page?

  116. I am one of those gullible morons and am suffering badly because I developed a website for 1 full year using Yahoo!'s sitebuilder, and now am unable to upload files from sitebuilder to their web hosting server. All my efforts including uninstalling and reinstalling sitebuilder have failed. (Needless to say customer service representatives from Yahoo! haved proved useless).
Now I am migrating to Dreamweaver. But I fear that updating my existing website will be a daunting task.

  117. Hi there, I've been researching this affiliate plugin and most reviews I've read are fairly vague. Why specifically do you say that "this may not be the best choice for you"?
    Thanks for the clarity.

  118. I see M Dolores Harper Morgan's question about total cost. I do not see a reply. It has been over a month since Dolores posted the question. Any answer?

  119. Thank you for the detailed, informative article. Indeed, every possible source of traffic should be pursued and I think Yahoo answers can really work well for anyone serious with internet marketing.

  120. Great set of plugins! I use Wishlist and s2member mainly, if I had to pick one that is consistently the best for me I'd have to go with Wishlist, great set of features and very user friendly… just my 2 cents

  121. LunaTik looks just as mugly to me as the Apple Watch does, even more so with that bolt-on look. I think thinness here is more important than ever. Thick watches never turned my tok, and are very uncomfortable for those with sensitive wrists.

  122. Hey Chozen,
Thanks for the review. I’d like to answer to a few things you mention.
    – Email template customization –
Right, we’re still in beta. We thought it would make sense to focus on one universal template for now, and do so in a way that still makes your posts brandable and customizable but most importantly guarantees compatibility in every email client. We nailed that.
It’s actually been interesting to see how creative our installs have been with customizing the template. Between the customizable header area and support for native widgets (including wysiwyg varieties) people have dreamed up some very cool variants.
Expect an expanded library in the near future.
    – Email delivery services –
All posts and comments delivered by Postmatic are delivered via Mailgun or Mandrill. We didn’t want to mess around… as you mention.
    – Statistics and analytics –
Right. We have a lot of work to do here. We can get open rates for any of our installations but at this time they are by request. We haven’t baked it into wp-admin. We agree that great analytics are going to be important to Postmatic and are working to make it happen.
    – Digests and weekly summaries –
Good idea! And, it’s almost done :). Expect to see it in May.
    – Subject lines –
We’ve done a lot of tweaking of subject lines during beta and settled on the system we have in place for the sake of allowing conversation threading in gmail, mailbox, etc. I could see some value though in allowing for custom subjects instead of defaulting to the post title. I’ll run it by the team.
    – Forcing registered users to opt in –
There’s no lack of understanding about WordPress here. There is a very keen understanding of spammers, though. They keep me up at night. We built Postmatic to be as bulletproof as possible as to not further contribute to the WordPress spam problem. Under your scenario this would be possible:
    1. Install WordPress
    2. Purchase email list of 570,000 addresses from shady guy for a few bucks
    3. Import those users into the WordPress database
    4. Spam away. Using our infrastructure.
We don’t think that registering for a website and opting into the newsletter produced by that site are the same thing at all. They are two very different transactions which should be decided by the user. Our invitation system makes it pleasant and easy.
Again, thanks for the wonderful review and for taking the time to really get under the hood.

  123. optimizepress snd instabuilder 2.0 are both disapointments. OP will not allow me to save changes, due to error of program. So far technical help is very slow for both companies.
Instabuilder has sales funnels but are too expensive.

  124. I’m one of the other fan of postmatic. Now its easy to subscribe to a particular post’s comments and respond, The ability to receive via email each post as it is published. Pretty amazing is’t it?

      1. “I’m still trying to figure out OneSignal’s business model because the service is completely free. How is that possible?”This is funny. Don’t you realize that they sold your data? Read their Terms, dude.

  125. I have been exchanging with Xaver (the plugin owner) since January. He promised to look into the major flaws of this plugin “soon”. Despite several tickets and monthly reminders, I have been unable to get an answer from Mailster. This is by far the worst support on a paid plugin I have been getting.

    1. Yeah, I’ve long since stopped using this plugin, I only have it active on one of my sites which I will remove soon and switch to MailPoet.

  126. “I’m still trying to figure out OneSignal’s business model because the service is completely free. How is that possible?”

This is funny. Don’t you realize that they sold your data? Read their Terms, dude.

  127. Amazing list, Glenton!
Being a professional photographer and graphic designer, my portfolio website has been the biggest asset of my life. I’ve built my website with Pixpa, and they allow users to manually choose the SEO properties of images and content. The process is tedious, but definitely helps bring organic clients to the business.

  128. Hi Glenton,
I am having some troubles finding a perfect plugin for my site which can get me into affiliate marketing because so far i have on my blog site is just adsense.
I’ve been searching for a while now but it is just a headache as there are so many options out there.
There was this site that came across my search which is offering such packages that seem great but i need suggestions about it.
I’ll link you with the list revglue(.)com/free-wordpress-plugins so you might be able to help me.

  129. Hi,

I was just dropping in a quick line to know, if I could send some great article ideas your way for a guest post at your website ?

If you like my suggested ideas, I can then provide you high-quality FREE CONTENT/ARTICLE. In return, I would expect just a favor of a backlink from within the main body of the article.

Do let me know if I can interest you with some great topic ideas?

    Best Regards,

    Junaid Ali Qureshi

  130. i totally agree that its a very good form builder. Pbobabbly one of the best but current pricing makes it out of reach for me. Almost all of my projects are non profit and I can not pay such annual subscriptions plans like they have now.

  131. Thanks for your honest review, I have been comparing many form builders this week, and have many of the same needs as you with regards to form builders.
It looks like even the updates for formidable Forms will be annual soon…
Your review has almost convinced me to purchase this form builder now, reason: you voted it in top 3, and also if I need support after 1 year I would be happy to pay for it.
I think you are 100% correct that after your support expires you should still have access to read the support tickets without expecting personal support.
It still comes out cheaper for me to get lifetime updates, I will just hope I don’t need too much support after 1 year.

  132. Completely agree. Great plugin, support has dramatically declined in experience over the last six months. Previously I would get quick replies with engaged and useful answers. More recently, responses seem more dismissive, lacking a joyous etiquette and becoming increasingly unhelpful – where I’ll have to either figure out the solutions on my own or just dismiss it myself. Certainly if they charge so much for support they should provide a premium service. Their support service isn’t as knowledgeable as they once were.

I feel they have found some success in the platform and have become a little focused on

  133. Interesting comment, but which other form plugins would you recommend? After a quick serach most of this kind of apps has payable annualy plans, and 199$ isnt actually the bigest price among them.

Are in formidable Forms any articles, instructions, guides, forum, about the problems when subscription is over?

Have you met many problems when creating forms that needed the support contact?

    1. Had some issues with their file upload function, there is no progress bar, so you don’t know what the status of the upload is. It’s been at least 5 years since I’ve been requesting they add that, it hasn’t happened. I’d have to login to see what all my tickets were about. At the time of writing this post, the highest price was $199, now there is a $399 version.

I recommend WPForms, which has a great free version, Gravity Forms is my main driver these days. I have in-depth reviews of both of them coming up.

Also, I’ll be updating this review soon as well, as they’re some new things to add.

  134. Here is the reason why you should never use One Signal… Ever… One Signal has a collective business model. Meaning that when you choose to use the “freemium” version of one signal you are allowing one signal to collect data, that data might be email addresses, phone numbers, home address, employment, browser history, search history and more. What this means is that if you have a client that has a brick and mortar store, then all of their customers could begin receiving robo calls, unsolicited, email, US mail, Text Messages. Trust me IF you choose to use one signal your customers will come to your door with pitchforks and torches. . . It is simply the worst business model I have ever seen… Do no Evil? One Signal is like the One Ring… To rule them and in the darkness bind them…

  135. I believe what you published made a lot of sense. However, what about this?
suppose you added a little content? I mean, I don’t wish to tell you how
to run your blog, but suppose you added a post title that grabbed people’s attention? I mean WordPress
Affiliate Program Plugin For Affiliate Program Management is kinda
boring. You ought to peek at Yahoo’s front page and see how they create post titles to
get viewers to click. You might add a video or a related
pic or two to grab people excited about everything’ve written. Just my
opinion, it might bring your website a little bit more interesting.

  136. I have had it built for me and stop certain company control of my mail. My problem is I am not tech minded and its for android so I honestly don’t know where to upload it and quick I’m on Huawei and u can see it and use it in return for getting it up and running starting literally with how step by step and quickest way or I have to wait for another week for my pal. Please jst mail pH. Number just say hi give me a call, or I’m in a world of s**t

  137. I installed this ino signal plugin, and just after making a post i got a notification of 400 errors!!!!!! is it because i didnt apply adequate settings to the pluging?

  138. I installed this one signal plugin, and just after making a post i got a notification of 400 errors!!!!!! is it because i didnt apply adequate settings to the plugging?

  139. I feel the same. I am using formidable form builder for the last 2 weeks. They have most of what I want. BUT if I struggle at some point there is no support at all. They are quite incompetent. Each time have to figure out myself. Since the other form builders do not have the frontend viewing option that I need, I have to stick to it. Otherwise, completely pissed off by the support.
